Connecticut Council on Freedom of Information annual lunch
Starts: June 15, 2016 at 12:00 pm Ends: June 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm
Connecticut Council on Freedom of Information will hold its annual luncheon Wednesday at the Pond House in Hartford’s Elizabeth Park.
The council will honor John Dankosky of WNPR, State Librarian Kendall Wiggin, CCSU history Prof. Matt Warshauer, Record-Journal reporter Mike Savino and CCFOI retiring vice present Dick Ahles for their tireless efforts in keeping government honest and open.
It’s a buffet lunch. The cost is $50 at the door.
The event will provide a rundown on the session — some progress on the UConn Foundation; next to no progress on historical records; and much more.
There will also be a vote for a new president and vice president.
