The Editorial Freelancers Association is hosting “Tips & Tricks of the Trade” at 7 p.m. on May 23.
We’ll share information about tricks and tools of the trade. Bring examples of the references that are important in your niche of the publishing world, sample style sheets, websites and other tools you use to organize information for editing, writing, indexing, project coordination, marketing, and business & financial record-keeping. Do you have firsthand experience using macros, time-tracker programs or project management software? Do you have editing or writing efficiency tricks? Bring your discoveries and hints to share with other participants.
Bring your laptop or look on with another freelancer. This will be a dessert potluck. Coffee will be provided. Desserts to share will be welcome.
