The Connecticut SPJ annual Excellence in Journalism Awards Dinner will be held at Fanatsia in North Haven on Thursday, May 24, 2012.
The dinner highlights the best of journalism in Connecticut during 2011.
It is also the time when CTSPJ inducts new members into the Hall of Fame, presents scholarships to deserving journalism students and honors supporters of Freedom of Information.
There will also be a special guest speaker this year. Leonard Levitt, an award-winning author and one of New York City’s most powerful news reporters, will speak at the dinner about the art of hard-core investigative journalism.
