All journalists are invited to the Freelancers Forum scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the West Hartford Public Library’s board room.
We’ll discuss the business of freelancing, such as how to find good-paying work, social media, managing multiple projects, when to say no to an assignment, etc.
The meeting is organized by two veteran journalists who are members of the American Society of Journalists and Authors: Len Felson and Theresa Sullivan Barger.
The meeting is structured so that participants will share what works and what doesn’t.
