Journalism and Women Symposium Conference in Vermont

Jill Abramson,  executive editor of the New York Times, will be the keynote speaker at the Journalism and Women Symposium Conference and Mentoring Project in Essex Junction, VT Oct. 25-27.

The conference includes panels on data visualization, food writing and food policy, using new tools for multimedia storytelling, covering the Affordable Care Act, independent publishing, and many opportunities for tech training.
Abramson is speaking on Saturday night and there’s a $125 day rate that includes her talk. The full conference fee (totally worth it!) is $375 for members and $475 for nonmembers. First time membership is $50.
